While you’re in port in Helsinki, explore the Finnish coast at top speeds on this private 2-hour Helsinki archipelago boat cruise. Take in landmarks such as Kaivopuisto, the 19th-century Presidential Palace, and the Suomenlinna fortress, and listen as your private guide sheds light on centuries of Finnish history. Out on the open waters, zoom over the waves at up to 50 knots (57 mph) and enjoy high-speed thrills on the water. Stop for a snack on a nearby island and admire sweeping views over the beautiful coastal scenery.

When your cruise ship docks in Helsinki, choose a 10am, 1pm, or 4pm tour, and meet your private guide at the cruise port or Vironallas — near the Market Square. Then, pull on your warm layers and listen to a safety briefing before cruising out into the harbor.

Head slowly past top attractions including Kaivopuisto — widely considered among Helsinki’s prettiest parks, the open-air market, the 19th-century Presidential Palace, and Suomenlinna — the historic island fortress. Along the way, listen as your private guide brings Helsinki’s rich history to life.

As you leave the coastline for deeper waters, hold tight as your private guide hits full throttle and zoom across the waves at speeds of up to 50 knots (57 mph). Stop on one of the local islands for snacks and drinks, and enjoy panoramic views over the archipelago.

After decorating the Christmas tree, it’s time for a traditional Finnish Christmas sauna. Unwind and relax in the gentle heat of the log sauna of Fox Cottage. If you’re brave enough, you’ll have an opportunity to go for a swim in a hole in the ice and enjoy a barrel sauna on the ice (depending on the ice situation).

After the sauna, we’ll enjoy a traditional Finnish Christmas meal.

The culmination of Christmas is when Santa arrives. That’s when we’ll sing a traditional Christmas song together to him. According to a Finnish belief, Santa only gives presents to good kids and twigs to the mean ones – let’s hope that everyone gets a present…

There are separate changing rooms and bathrooms for men and women in the Fox Cottage sauna, but only one steam room for common use. To the relief of shy ones, wearing a swimsuit or a towel is allowed in the sauna. Towels for the sauna are provided by us.

Did you know that there are about 50 different wild animal species and 200 different individuals at the Ranua Wildlife Park? All the animals live within spacious fencing along the 2,8 km (1.7 miles) park trail in the middle of the surrounding forest wilderness. In the winter you can visit the Husky Park and in the summer the Domestic Animal Park also. This private half-day trip takes you to see these fascinating creatures and includes a horse-drawn sleigh ride and return transfers from your Rovaniemi hotel.

Visit the world's northernmost zoo on this private 5-hour small or large group tour, starting with a morning pickup from your Rovaniemi hotel. When you are in the park you feel like you are in different part of the world as you can now see many of the animals living in the arctic areas all in one place.

Ranua Wildlife Park and nearby areas give you the opportunity to see the exotic animals throughout the year. The park is open every day of the year and the changing seasons bring their own additional dimension to the life in the park.

Most of the trail is built on wooden footbridges and duckboards and it's easy to travel providing an unhampered view into the animal fencing. In the winter you may like to have a sled to help traveling with the children and in the summer pushchairs are available.

At the open fire stops and lean-to's (a type of simple structure originally added to an existing building with the rafters "leaning" against another wall). Along the trail you can enjoy your own snacks and sandwiches.

After the Zoo visit enjoy a long sleigh ride drawn by Finnish horses or Finnhorses. Join us for a wintry sleigh ride in the snowy wonderland! You can explore the beautiful Ukonkangas forest, which is located next to the Wildlife Park before returning back to Rovaniemi.
